Thankful List for December: -an email update about our adoption status that we had been waiting for And a few random things that have nothing to do with adoption: -our dear friends, the Ostermanns, are back from Uganda on furlough -the annual Girls' Christmas ornament painting party with BSM students -the life of Ben's strong, graceful Grandmother and the legacy she left behind. -Ben was able to get to Florida for her funeral -Kasi came over for dinner -Peanuts movie with the Ostermanns -Christmas fun: decorating, cookie and candy making, sign painting, Fantasy of Lights with friends, reading Christmas books, watching movies, sleeping by the tree, ornament making and baking with friends -kids singing in church -getting to make the long drive to Georgia (and back) with friends -time in Georgia: Christmas eve service, celebrating our Savior's birth, dance parties, movie watching, Wii playing, toys fetched off roof tops, game playing, polar plunges, time with family -time in North Carolina: Ben's parents were safe after their first flood and evacuation, being able to help them clean up and clean out, all 11 of us were safe after the 2nd flood and evacuation, movie watching, an amazing fireworks show and end to our trip, time with family "The One who made us has come to live with us!"
