Thankful list for July: -progress on our adoption paperwork trail And a few random things that have nothing to do with adoption: -4th of July fun (most of it was had on the third of July) -our family vacation to South Padre Beach: the trip down and one night stay in San Antionio so we could make Tuck's "lifelong dream of seeing the Alamo" come true, Hard 8 BBQ, the sea turtle rehabilitation place, the awesome "pink thing" at the beach, the playground across from the beach house, the church in South Padre who decided to minister to minsters by letting them vacation for cheap). -Aunt Katie's visit and all the fun things we got to do while she was here (movie watching, dressing up like a cow for free chicken, seeing Mary Poppins, playing lunar golf, water ballon fights). -"And now, dear children, continue in Him, so that when He appears we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming." 1 John 2:28 -lots and lots of sweet time with friends (apparently, Tuck doesn't like to have his picture taken very often) -lots of time for our kids to be kids -Tuck's broken wrist was only a buckle fracture and he got exactly the cast he wanted- blue and waterproof ;) "The more you see your own flaws and sins, the more precious, electrifying, and amazing God's grace appears to you." ~ Tim Keller
