Thankful List for February: -more progress in the Padilla's adoption process -other families in our life praying through/considering adoption -2 years since we lost Aida and our kids still faithfully pray for her -being able to pray for others grieving from adoption loss -“I realized that the deepest spiritual lessons are not learned by His letting us have our way in the end, but by His making us wait, bearing with us in love and patience until we are able to honestly to pray what He taught His disciples to pray: Thy will be done.” -Elisabeth Elliot And a few random things that have nothing to do with adoption: -birthday celebrations -Family Dedication (and all the people who made it happen) -how much Tuck enjoyed UIL -TGS cupcakes with Faith staff -Valentine's fun and how excited kids get over the smallest cards and tiniest trinkets -kids sharing and making compromises -serving as a family at Ben Milam Family Night -getting to sew on my new sewing machine -beautiful weather in February -the Padillas for so generously and thoughtfully offering to watch our kids so we could go out on a date -80's day at school -tea parties --trampoline basketball -lots of reading -FaceTime with the Withers
