Thankful List for September, October, November: -fingerprints re-done -homestudy update in November... again -"Worry is not believing God will get it right, and bitterness is believing God got it wrong." -Tim Keller (thanks Jeanna Padilla) And a few random things that have nothing to do with adoption: -Rangers game with students -being without your phone for a while makes you really appreciate it when you get it back -a new (to us) van -a Mom who made the long drive from Georgia to Texas with me and getting to have her here for a week -celebrating 8 years of life with our helpful, obedient, competitive, kind boy -watching Tuck play baseball -Annie at the Wichita Theatre -watching Pan with Kelli and Carson -Tuck getting to be a water boy at an Old High game -hot chocolate -mums -pumpkin patches -Fall decorations -pumpkin carving -cardboard boat races -kids in costumes -dinners outside -time with friends -PJ and Popcorn Party (movie night at church) -a safe arrival home for Grace -great weather for lots of time outside -a wonderful 35th birthday and an amazing gift from Ben -a huge turnout for our Annual International Thanksgiving -a Colorado Thanksgiving (safe travels, lots of deer sightings, a beautiful place to stay, game playing, sledding, snowmobiling, incredible scenery, and lots of time with family and friends).
