Thankful List for August: -adoption paperwork trail caught up on for now -three years ago today we shared this news with you... here. I've been thinking about it so much the past few weeks. Some days, I still can't believe we never got to bring her home. But even though I can't understand the why or how, I know that God is still faithful to us and to her. And I'm thankful for the three years that we've had to pray for her and the lifetime we have to continue to pray for her. -"Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge." Psalm 62:8 And a few random things that have nothing to do with adoption: "Stix N Tones" music and arts camp at our church (and how Tucker performed anyway despite his nerves) -Playdate at the Hansard house -basketball with Mrs. Charlotte -waterpark with Tillers -last Chick fil A dinner with the Withers, we are so sad for our friends to leave but so grateful for the time they were here -getting to see Brooklyn briefly -fun little before school getaway to Dallas with our family -time with Daddy -Faith family fun night at Camp Chaparral -lunar golf with the Doleys -dinner with the Whites and Vanessa -Chuck E Cheese= lots of Skee Ball with the kids -how much Libby and Esime enjoyed Sleeping Beauty -a new work adventure for me -students are back -Night of Joy at our church -Church without Walls -Tucker got his cast off! -first day of school success (we now have a second grader and a kindergartner -summer and all the extra time with friends and each other that it grants us
