Thankful List for June: -2 adoption seminars complete -all the people who made it possible for us to attend the adoption seminars by helping with kids and dog: Jeff and Carson, Ashley, Kasi, Brady and Melissa -meeting Bryan and Michelle Hurt and beginning to walk the adoption journey with them -“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: “What! You too? I thought I was the only one.” C.S. Lewis And a few random things that have nothing to do with adoption: -Libby being done with preschool and enjoying a little alone time at home with me before brother finished school -Tucker finishing 1st grade and gettiing to celebrate an amazing year -Ben and I both getting to speak at different times about our trip to Uganda -kids enjoying more time together -a fun baseball season coming to an end and baseball camp -Robert and Kelli watching the kids so I could work -lots and lots of fun in the water from swimming lessons to pool parties to playing in the sprinkers (the drought is over!!!!) -a constant reminder over the last couple of months of the amazing friends God has placed in our lives to be our Texas family. "A secret master of ceremonies has been at work. Christ, who said to the disciples, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,” can truly say to every group of Christian friends, “Ye have not chosen one another but I have chosen you for one another.” The friendship is not a reward for our discriminating and good taste in finding one another out. It is the instrument by which God reveals to each of us the beauties of others.”
