Thankful List for July
-LOTS of T-shirt orders through Facebook and Etsy that are keeping my sewing machine buzzing -home study arrived(7/5) -realizing Home study still had our names misspelled (7/8) -home study came back… correct! (7/12) -FINALLY… putting our homestudy in the mail!!!!! (7/13) -generous friends (Snow family) who had birthday gifts donated to our adoption and shoes collected for “Orphan Souls” -being able to buy 21 shirts/onesies to sew on for $26 at Old Navy -several cool conversations about our adoption (and people being interested in us, and what we are doing, and how the process is going… does my heart good!) -a fun painting party… the flowers and vases turned out sooo good! (and the yummy baked goods Kelli always faithfully brings) -HOPE… our monthly newletter from our adoption agency (Buckner) offered us good news for some slightly increased speed in the process. I didn’t realize until I received it… how much I needed just a little bit of hope for the length of our journey. And a few random things that have nothing to do with adoption: -sweet time with our dear friends’ the Cash’s before they moved to Africa -lots of Shrinky Dinks making in our house -Tucker: Why do we go to Hobby Lobby so much? Me: Well, how does Mommy make money? Tucker: By painting and being married -a really good report for Libby at her cardiologist check up!!! -Ben earning $200 extra dollars just a few days before our car needed to be fixed… for just a little over $200 -college students spending time in our home -a wonderful week long visit from Nana (my mom), Allison (my sister), Kaitlyn (my niece)… sewing, painting stripes, eating peanut butter pie, and laughing so hard my jaws hurt -watching Tucker serve others
